This is the great 12-syllabed mantra of Vishnu for
liberation. It’s a mukti or
liberation mantra.
It brings us to realization of one’s own self as
transcendental divinity in a form.
Consistent use of this mantra will bring us closer to
being free of the eternal cycle of death and rebirth with the purpose of paying
karma, thus a great by product of this mantra is that it helps us clear karma.
The mantra revolves around the spine purifying the
chakras: they get energized as the mantra pulls spiritual energy through the
spine
Mantra used in Kriya Yoga to enhance certain kriyas
(sequence of movements)
It has also been used by many sages ans swamis of India, like Swami Kripalunanda
It can also help bring and advanced spiritual soul when
chanted during pregnancy.
Bhagavate is individual in the process of becoming divine,
and Bhagavanis when it has become divine.

OM NAMO BHAGAVATE VASUDEVAYA
