Mercury Puranic Mantra

This is the mantra for Mercury that comes in the scriptures known as The Puranas.

The mantra is:

PRIYANGUKALIKA SHYAMAM, RUPENAPRATIMAM BUDDHAM;

SAUMYAM SAUMYA GUNOPETAM, TAM BUDDHAM PRANAMAMYAHAM.

OM BUDDHAYA NAMAHA

I propitiate the spirit of Mercury, dark like the bud of millet, of unequalled beauty, both gentle and agreeable.
