Venus Puranic Mantra

This is the mantra for Veus that comes in the scriptures known as The Puranas.

The mantra is:

HIMAKUNDA MRINALABHAM, DAITYANAM PARAMAM GURUM;
SARVA SHASTRA PRAVAKTARAM, BHARGAVAM PRANAMAMYAHAM.

OM SHUKRAYA NAMAHA

I propitiate the spirit of Venus, the ultimate preceptor of Daitya and Asuras (demons), promulgator of all learning and bestower of scriptural knowledge, who shines like snow-white jasmine.
