Vishnu Avatar: KURMA, the Divine Tortoise

Today’s we arelearning the mantra tp the second Avatar of Vishnu, Kurma, the Divine Tortoise. Kurma Appeared to salvage some of the items lost in the great deluge near the end of the previous cycle. Most probably a polar shift occurres and the continents began to realign themselves under the changed conditions of the earth. Some sources state tht the entire continent of India rests upon the back of Kurma the tortoise.

The mantra is:

OM SRI KURMA AVATARAYA NAMAHA
