Once more, welcome to my blog, and thank you very much
for visiting and following my teachings :)
Today we will learn the Saraswati Mula or foundation
Mantra. Saraswati is the goddess of wisdom and knowledge. She is the spouse of
Brahma, the creator, on of the gods of the masculine trinity of the Hindu
pantheon
Saraswati represent the feminine principle or Shakti
behind the creation of the Universe. She rules science, the arts, and everything
regarding creative thought, like sacred geometry and literature, speech, music
and painting, to name a few.
She is an inspirational muse for any scientific or
artistic project. She is depicted sitting on a white lotus flower, and her
vehicle is a swan. She plays a Veena and carries a book of scripture and a Mala
or rosary in her numerous hands.
Many of the great sages and swamis in India, carry the
name Saraswati, as a sign of their knowledge.
Saraswati Mula Mantra is often chanted in India by
mothers for their children’s success in school. It can also be chanted by any
student at any stage, to be able to tap into the principle of wisdom and
knowledge, and to memorize our studies. She is the patron of musicians,
scientists, and artists in general.
One of the practical applications of this mantra is
that it aids in learning the correct pronunciation of Mantras, and for this
reason this is the second mantra in this blog.
The Mantra is:
OM EIM SARASWATIYEI SWAHA
OM Sanskrit symbol
representing the creation of the UniverseEIM Seed sound containing all the information of Saraswati
SARASWATIYEI Name of the principle, with the feminine suffix
SWAHA I salute and honor you
For the correct pronunciation of this mantra, please check my YouTube Video, where I chant it 108 times.
This mantra is specially indicated when we are trying
to move forward on our spiritual path. It connects us with the energy of the
creation of the Universe, bringing us the answer to all our questions in an
unexpected way, whether it be on a book or article, a video or image. It helps
connect with the Akashic records or universal library.
I hope this mantra brings many positive results to
your life, especially in your spiritual path.
