Another Ganesha Mantra

Dear reader, thank you once more for being here to learn a new mantra.

I want to take opportunity to talk a little bit more about Ganesha.

He is the son of Shiva and spouse Parvati. Shiva, along with Brahma and Vishnu is part of the masculine trinity of the Hindu pantheon.

The Scriptures tell us that from the powerful union of Shiva with his Shakti Parvati, in the total merge of masculine and feminine, the world was created. From this union Ganesha was born, and for this reason he is closely related to the Sanskrit symbol OM, which represents the creation of the Universe.

Ganesha has a brother named Subramanya, whose main attribute is that off good luck. Ganesha is normally depicted sitting in a throne with a bowl of swits in one hand, as a sign of abundance. On his other hands he carries weapons to destroy ignorance. His vehicle is a rat, and he is normally sitting on top of it, smashing it. The rat represents and the ego, therefore he helps us smash our ego.

Ganesha is a masculine deity, but has no Sprouse like the other gods. Nevertheless, the Scriptures mention to spouses of Ganesha, which in reality are two attributes:
Siddhi: The magical powers attributed by each one of his mantras.
Buddhi: The knowledge to obtain these powers.

The magical power of this particular month ago that will learn in today, is of concentration: in our studies, work, or any thing we put our mind to.

The Mantra is:
OM SRI GANESHAYA NAMAHA
OM                       Sanskrit symbol representing the creation of the Universe
SRI                       Title of reverence
GANESHAYA    Name of the deity with the masculine suffix
NAMAHA           I salute and honor you

Saraswati Mula Mantra

Namaste,

Once more, welcome to my blog, and thank you very much for visiting and following my teachings :)

Today we will learn the Saraswati Mula or foundation Mantra. Saraswati is the goddess of wisdom and knowledge. She is the spouse of Brahma, the creator, on of the gods of the masculine trinity of the Hindu pantheon

Saraswati represent the feminine principle or Shakti behind the creation of the Universe. She rules science, the arts, and everything regarding creative thought, like sacred geometry and literature, speech, music and painting, to name a few.

She is an inspirational muse for any scientific or artistic project. She is depicted sitting on a white lotus flower, and her vehicle is a swan. She plays a Veena and carries a book of scripture and a Mala or rosary in her numerous hands.

Many of the great sages and swamis in India, carry the name Saraswati, as a sign of their knowledge.

Saraswati Mula Mantra is often chanted in India by mothers for their children’s success in school. It can also be chanted by any student at any stage, to be able to tap into the principle of wisdom and knowledge, and to memorize our studies. She is the patron of musicians, scientists, and artists in general.

One of the practical applications of this mantra is that it aids in learning the correct pronunciation of Mantras, and for this reason this is the second mantra in this blog.

The Mantra is:

OM EIM SARASWATIYEI SWAHA
OM                            Sanskrit symbol representing the creation of the Universe
EIM                           Seed sound containing all the information of Saraswati
SARASWATIYEI    Name of the principle, with the feminine suffix
SWAHA                    I salute and honor you

For the correct pronunciation of this mantra, please check my YouTube Video, where I chant it 108 times.

This mantra is specially indicated when we are trying to move forward on our spiritual path. It connects us with the energy of the creation of the Universe, bringing us the answer to all our questions in an unexpected way, whether it be on a book or article, a video or image. It helps connect with the Akashic records or universal library.

I hope this mantra brings many positive results to your life, especially in your spiritual path.

MANTRA TO REMOVE OBSTACLES

Ganesha Mula Mantra

Welcome to my blog again! I am very grateful for your presence here.

Tody we are gounf to learn our first mantra!

Obviously, we will start with Ganesha, the elephant god. Why obviously? In the Hindu tradition he is always honored first. The most practical reason is because, being the removal of obstacles, he opens all doors. Every time we start a Mantra discipline, we should always chant to Ganesha first.

The Ganesha Mula or foundation Mantra comes in very handy when we start a new endeavor, like a project, a job, when we buy a house or a car, even when we start a new relationship, whether it is personal of business wise. It also helps us to find a job.

The first time I experience the great power of this mantra was when I first learned it. One afternoon I was driving back home in Arlington, MA, from my job in Somerville, though Somerville Ave, which has many Stop signs. On one intersection, there was a vehicle already there, but it would not move, so I decided to go. A few seconds later I hear the sound of a police patrol that stopped me.
The police officer was beside himself, really mad at me for what I had just done. He asked me for my license and registration and went back to his patrol.
I Was very nervous, so I took the mala I was wearing off my neck, and started chanting the Ganesha Mula Mantra. The one thing I noticed, is that chanting the mantra calmed me down, to the point that I completely forgot about the unpleasant situation taking place.
To my astonishment, a few minutes later he comes back and gives me back my papers and says: “I just had an emergency call and have to leave, otherwise I would be giving you the highest fine I could!” And he let me go with a worning…
I was really impressed. I learned my lesson, with no points to my driver’s license or increase on my car insurance. And this way I learned from my own experience how powerful mantras can be!

The Mantra is:

OM GAM GANAPATAYEI NAMAHA

OM                 Sanskrit symbol representing the creation of the Universe
GAM              Mantra-semilla que contiene toda la información de Ganesha
GANAPATI Another name for Ganesha
YEI                 feminine suffix, even when Ganesha is a masculine deity
NAMAHA
I salute or honor you

I salute you with the principle of creation of the Universe, O lord Ganesha, the removal of obstacles!
