32 Syllable Narasimha Mantra

Today’s mantra is an extremely powerful protection mantra to Narasiha. According to Satguru Saint Keshavadas, is a mantra “to cast devils out of the body, and to be relieved of nightmares, fear of ghosts and their possession, chant this powerful mantra”

The mantra is:
OM UGRAM VEERAM MAHA VISHNUM
JWALANTAM SARVATO-MUKHAM
NARASIMHAM BHEESHANAM BHADRAM
MRYTYUM MRYTYUM NAMAMYAHAM

O Lord Vishnu, O Narasimha (Man-Lion God, the fourth incarnation of MahaVishnu), protect me from death; destroy the death and bless me with immortality.
May the fire emerging from your mouth reduce the devil to ashes. Salutations.

Another translation: ‘I bow down to Naṛasimha who is terrible, valorous, blazing like the fire or the sun, all-pervading, awful, death of even the god of death, and yet, the ever-auspicious Mahāvisnu!’
