Today we will learn a mantra that helps us actívate the
pineal gland, a Shiva mantra known as the Kechari Mantra.
The pineal gland is considered the seat of the soul, both in
west and in the east. When activated, we are connected with our higher self and
with our own divinity. This is a Shiva mantra. Shiva is conscousness and bless.
As the eternal yogi, he is in a constant state of meditation, and consequently
his pineal gland always activated. This is the effect of this mantra, to help
us actívate the pineal gland through sound and vibration.
It is a small gland the size of a pine nut, located in the
brain. If we draw an imaginary line from the third eye towards the brain, and
another one from the crown Chakra to the brain, the pineal gland is located in
the intersection of both lines. In that intersaction there is also located the
Soma Chakra, which has the power of the moon, being also Shiva’s power.
There are many ways you can actívate your pineal gland, and
this mantra is a very poerful one.
